Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry has 47 arcres of gardens, first eveloped over two and a half centuries ago, that are open to the public. Visitors can also avail of the Terrace Cafe, Avoca Stores and a Garden Pavillion as well as a trip to the Powerscourt Waterfall. These gardens are also open to the public and have a garden cafe and shopping courtyard for visitors to enjoy. Clara Lara Fun Park is an outdoor adventure centre ideally suited for a family day out. Glenroe Farm gives you the opportunity to get up close to many farm animals and pets. It also has a play area, gardens, nature walk and coffee shop. Victoria's Way Set in 22 acres of open country and forest, this Indian Sculpture Park is a really unique experience. There are over 20 sculptures in the park, including a collection of black granite Ganesh (the Hindu elephant-deity) sculptures. The collection of granite Ganesh took about 9 years to design, model and carve. The sculptures range in size from 5ft 6ins to 9ft and weigh between 2 and 5 tonnes.You’ll also find seven forest sculptures that represent the seven stages on the journey to the full realisation of one’s true self. In 2012, Victoria's Way will be open everyday from Saturday, 28th April until 18th September. Entry is €2.50 and children under 16 go free.
